It’s hard to believe that I have a 9 month old on my hands.
Thinking back a year ago I would of laughed if someone told me I would be a
mom. My life is constantly changing. I find it hard to believe that my daughter
doesn’t fit into 9-month clothes. It feels like just yesterday I was
boxing up the 6 month old clothes and stocking her dresser with 9-month
clothes.
I’m discovering that my daughter’s favorite pass time is
being outside in the jogging stroller. Whether we're out gardening or running it's a perfect addition for my active
family. I find it fitting that our first major baby purchase was a jogging stroller. I had my eye on several, but the winner of my thorough
investigation was the Schwinn Turismo Stroller.

The pros:
+ Baby Trend car seat was able to snap in.
+ Wheels are real thick tires.
+ The front wheel can swivel for walking and lock for
running.
+ The jogging stroller has a spring suspension. (This really
helps when sidewalks are cracked and uneven. Especially with a newborn.)
+ The stroller’s frame is made of a lightweight aluminum
frame for easy handling.
The cons:
- It is not compact when folded. (I would advise having a
big trunk or backseat)
- Built-in MP3 speaker isn’t really loud. (Not a feature
that was a must-have for me.)
- No strap to have for a break.
Overall the stroller is a winner. I know it’s not a BOB, but
it’s a stroller that is easy on your pocket. I’m just starting back up with my
jogging schedule. It was an adjustment to find time to workout with a baby
while juggling work and breastfeeding. I’m finally getting a handle on it.
I’m excited for summer and many jogs with Izzy Mae to come.
